Stoke Beer Festival 2014

Posted on: 24.10.14

What an amazing event it was for our brewery at Stoke Beer Festival. We had such an overwhelming response to our beers, and we believe that our Weals in Motion beer was one of the first to sell out in the whole festival, fantastic.  We won’t be brewing now for a couple of weeks, as we’re taking a holiday, however, we will still be responding to emails and collecting phone messages. Brewing recommences on 13th November.

We now have 3 beers that are selling really well – Weals in Motion, 4.6%(pale), Weals of Steele, 5.1%(golden) and Potters Weal, 5.5%(dark bitter). We would like to thank everyone for their help and support, the last few weeks have been great.

Our first brew

We brewed our first beer in our business premises last week. At the moment, we are still testing, but we are hoping to launch a beer very soon.

Nearly there!

We’re getting very close to brewing our first beer …….. not long now! It’s very exciting.

Our new kit

Posted on: 12.08.14

All our brewery kit and ingredients have arrived at the brewery. We are just finalising the electrics and plumbing, and the environmental health standards, and then we’re ready to start brewing. We are still on track to get a beer at Stoke Beer Festival, but we are hopeful that we’ll have a beer ready for the pubs by mid to end of September, however, things do tend to get pushed behind schedule as we’ve noticed already!
